The Fund to provide Food for Poor Children
The Mudcake Fund has been inspired by the phenomenal two-minute candid video film ' The Mudcake '. This film depicts the on-ground harsh reality of poor children of India in a playful manner. After watching this small film, many people expressed a wish to contribute to the cause. It's the wish of those people that has given birth to this fund.

Nutrition is the buzzword today; the “in” thing when we talk about what we consume daily. It’s ironical though that we talk of 'nutrition' when a majority of our country’s population is still struggling with hunger! The reality as of today is that millions of poor kids in India don't have access even to a basic nutritious meal.
The Mudcake Fund is being created to initiate a program, focussed primarily on feeding poor slum children, street children, and orphans.

We are collecting contributions towards the 'seeding fund' that will be utilized to start a proper promotional and fund-raising program for the 'Mudcake Fund'. The fund shall then be utilized directly under the supervision of the Founder Director, Humlog, for feeding poor children. The Project shall initially start with feeding street children and slum children of the tri-city area—Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula —once the threshold level of the fund is reached, to make the project viable for atleast six months.

The Mudcake Fund is an initiative of a Chandigarh based Non-Profit Organization, Humlog (We the people) that works in the field of Health and Environmental Activism. Humlog was founded by the Chandigarh based social activist Dr Gaurav Chhabra in 2006 and is a registered Non-Profit Public Charitable Trust.

If you are working and are earning your living on your own and can afford to donate whatever little amount that you can, then you can be a patron of the Mudcake Fund.
No amount is a small amount. Each bit will add up towards the bigger goal of providing nutrition to poor children.
